Mail Program:  This controls which mail client launches when the customer clicks the Mail button on his IE 4 browser toolbar. Usually, with IE 4, this box will read "Outlook Express"; others that are available on the customer's machine may also be selected by clicking on the down-arrow.  For most customers, you will want to select Outlook Express as the mail client because of its relative simplicity and ease of setup.

Default browser selection:  this can be checked if the customer wants, for example, desktop Internet Shortcuts to launch IE instead of Netscape.  If this is checked, the next time IE launches, he will be prompted "Do you want to make IE your default browser"; and he should then say "Yes."
