When the Eudora Light application opens up (accessed by going into the Hard Drive, then Internet Applications, and then clicking on the Eudora Light icon), no window immediately opens, but Eudora's menus will appear along the top of the screen (File, Edit, Mailbox, Message, Transfer, Special, and Window). To access this Settings screen, go to the "Special" menu and select Settings.

Only the first three tabs' settings (Getting Started, Personal Information, and Hosts) are important. Be sure to check all three. Other tabs are optional.

Note: the formatting of the "POP Account" box is very important in Eudora. It must be in the format shown (user@[Incoming Mail Server Address]).

On some versions of Eudora Light, the Connection Method will read "TCP/IP" instead of "MacTCP."
